Job summary

Magna is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design, optimize, and govern material flow across the value stream, applying PFEP, AI, simulation, and digital twin technologies to create a data-driven logistics network.

You will lead PFEP ownership, end-to-end material flow, and automation integration, collaborating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Launch, Purchasing, and Operations to drive continuous improvement and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing logistics, material flow, or industrial engineering.
• Experience with PFEP systems and automation technologies.
• Experience with simulation software and analytical tools.
• Automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and govern a comprehensive Digital PFEP database for production and indirect materials.
• Lead material flow optimization, including JIT, line-side presentation, and supermarket systems.
• Utilize AI tools to analyze consumption patterns and predict shortages or disruptions.
• Create automated dashboards and decision-support tools for operations teams.
• Model material movement with Digital Twin tech and simulate changes for ROI analysis.
• Drive automation and conveyance strategies and cross-functional project leadership.
