Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead digital PFEP ownership, optimize material flow, and partner with manufacturing teams to drive data-driven logistics improvements. You will implement AI-based analytics, simulate future states, and guide automation integration to improve efficiency across the value stream.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing logistics or industrial engineering, hands-on PFEP experience, and strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years in manufacturing logistics, material flow, industrial engineering, supply chain, or automation.
Experience with PFEP systems and automation technologies (AMRs, AGVs, ASRS, smart manufacturing).
Experience with simulation software and analytical tools; automotive/advanced manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own Digital PFEP: create, maintain, govern PFEP database and attributes.
Drive PFEP integration with ERP/MES/WMS and automation systems.
Analyze end-to-end material movement and optimize replenishment strategies.
Develop AI-driven analytics dashboards and models for inventory and line performance.
Lead Value Stream Mapping and material flow initiatives across plants.
