Job summary

KHS, a global leader in beverage and liquid food packaging systems, seeks a Production & Logistics Project Lead to drive assembly and logistics optimization. You will implement lean practices, design 2D/3D production layouts, and develop KPI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• TPS or SME 5S Lean certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to create production layouts in 2D and 3D.
• Willingness to travel 10% using all forms of public transport including air travel.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving planning, optimization, and implementation of assembly and logistic areas.
• Implement lean principles to eliminate waste across the entire value stream.
• Create innovative logistic concepts (e.g., sequential material delivery, kanban, milk run systems).
• Analyze existing processes to design efficient value streams and reduce throughput time.
• Design and create detailed production layouts and assembly lines in 2D and 3D.
• Act as a counterpart for team leader and management to lead CIP initiatives.
• Challenge colleagues to drive CIP on the shop floor.
• Contribute to global portfolio expansion and enable on-site assembly.
• Develop and implement KPI systems.
• Document new processes and create SOPs for shop floor employees.

• Challenge colleagues (across all levels of the hierarchy) to continuously drive CIP on the shop floor
• Contribute to global portfolio expansion and enable production to carry out on-site assembly
• Development and implementation of an appropriate key performance indicator system
• Document new processes and create clear standard operating procedures for shop floor employees

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in TPS or SME 5S Lean certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to create production layouts in 2D and 3D
• Ability to travel 10% using all forms of public transport including air travel.
• Valid drivers’ license and passport.
