Job summary

Perry Ellis International, Inc. in Seneca, SC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to analyze production and operations, collect data, and identify inefficiencies. You will support Lean manufacturing initiatives and help implement improvements across the plant.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop SOPs, standard work, and methods that reduce costs while boosting productivity. This role requires 0–3 years of experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, or statistical software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Collect and interpret data related to labor, materials, equipment, and workflow.
  • Assist in developing methods to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses.
  • Support facility layout and workflow optimization projects.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Assist with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, charts, and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
