Ascendo Resources is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to analyze, improve, and implement production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs. You will work with operations and cross-functional teams on continuous improvement, facility planning, and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Experience with work measurement, time studies, process mapping, layout, and workstation design.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects designed to eliminate waste and improve production efficiency.
  • Apply IE methodologies to evaluate and improve processes.
  • Support capital equipment evaluations, capacity studies, facility layouts, workstation design, tooling, and standard work.
  • Develop time standards and conduct time studies for manufacturing processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report operational and IE metrics.
  • Coordinate facility layouts, equipment moves, and production-area changes.
  • Collect and validate production and engineering data to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Gather operational data to support cost estimates and project proposals.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, measurements, and engineering data.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and overall process performance.
  • Assist with implementation and management of continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to other members of the engineering team.
  • Promote standardization of processes and engineering practices throughout the facility.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and other departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with work measurement, time studies, process mapping, facility layout, and workstation design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop practical, measurable solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with CAD or facility-layout software.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, production, ERP, or operational systems.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret production and process data.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
