Job summary

TES Recruiting in Richmond, VA is seeking a hands-on production engineer to measure labor content, develop mixed-model line balances, and collaborate on value stream layouts within the production workspace.

The role involves leading 5S exercises, working with operators and leadership, and helping develop training content with the training manager to ensure continuity of knowledge and standard processes.

Qualifications

• Understanding of work measurement, line balancing, 5S, etc.
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience with 2D CAD software for layout development.
• Excellent communication skills with people in all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work flexible hours at times to accommodate 3rd shift operation.
• Action oriented, hands-on person who is excited to solve problems and continuously improve the production environment.

Responsibilities
