Must have Skill Set: BS Industrial Engineering degree or similar
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize centerline settings, machine setpoints and operating parameters for production equipment
- Lead process improvement initiatives across changeovers, sanitation, tooling and other workflow areas; identify operational inefficiencies and drive new process development where needed
- Partner with teams to evaluate and recommend cost-reduction, automation and capital improvement opportunities
- Improve equipment reliability by analyzing performance data, reducing scrap and waste and ensuring availability of critical parts
- Support Commissioning, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects and ensure smooth integration into operations
- Collaborate with Maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, spare parts planning, repair procedures and overall asset health
- Analyze CMMS (M+) work-order data to identify patterns, root causes and improvement opportunities in maintenance performance
- Establish documentation standards for vendors and contractors that support training material development and operational readiness
- Serve as the primary liaison for OEMs, coordinating technician visits and providing on-site support as needed
- Lead targeted initiatives to increase uptime and equipment availability while reducing failures and unplanned downtime
- Coach and develop the Operational Process Leads to improve their skills, allowing them to be more effective team members; teams may be formed to attack a specific defect / loss or to support a specific project / initiative
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in the Engineering / Technology Field from an accredited institution
- 2-5 years of industry experience developing and writing procedures with cross functional teams; experience use with total productive maintenance (TPM) preferred
- Proficient use and knowledge in SAP, Adobe Acrobat Writer, PLC, AutoCAD and/or similar 2D CAD program and Shop Floor integration
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools and principles preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; food industry experience is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with plant operations, packaging and processing equipment
