The Industrial Engineering contractors will join Boeing Future of Flight in Portland, Oregon, to support production stability and lean initiatives. You will assess rate readiness and review the facilities footprint for improvements while collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and production-support teams.
Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 3 years in related fields, with strong problem-solving and MS Office skills.
This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
The Industrial Engineering team within the Client is seeking Industrial Engineers to join our growing team located in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, as well as utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve flow of products and people throughout the site. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter and a collaborative team player. Our business unit allows you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world including supply chain logistics and transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies to be delivered to our assembly and installation programs around the world.
