Job summary

Luminator Technology Group seeks an Industrial Engineer at our Plano, TX site to analyze, design, and optimize systems for efficiency, waste reduction, and productivity across operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that enable continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include time studies, process design, metrics development, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to enhance manufacturing and service delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or proven experience in process optimization, manufacturing systems, or operations engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (InforLN).
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, and quality standards (ISO, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production workflows, logistics, and resource utilization to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement efficient systems for manufacturing, service delivery, and supply chain operations.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate process effectiveness.
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to integrate new technologies and automation.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, simulations, and ergonomic assessments
  • Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and management.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Industrial Engineer to join our team at our site in Plano, Texas. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing systems and processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across our operations.
