Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and motor design principles.
• Understanding of winding techniques, lamination stacks, magnets and insulation.

• Supports the department's Subject Mater Expert (SME) in the sizing, design, mechanical drawings and testing of electric motors operating at speeds up to 70,000 rpm used in our fans, pumps and compressors.
• Performs electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical analysis using simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
• Creates detailedCAD models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Develops motor performance specifications and validation test plans. Conducts performance testing (efficiency, torque, speed, thermal, vibration, noise).
• Analyzes and optimize motor efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical, Electrical
