Heron Power Inc. in Scotts Valley is seeking an Industrial Enclosures Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver high-volume enclosures for power converters. You will work with a small, multidisciplinary team, owning designs from concept through production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical engineering, a strong grip on first principles, and is proficient in CAD design, particularly CATIA V6/3DX. Join us to contribute to the electrification of everything.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing outdoor-rated industrial enclosures.
• 5+ years of experience working with 3D CAD.
• Strong understanding of electronics and high-volume manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design mass-manufacturable parts for large industrial enclosures.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines.
• Own parts from initial concept to production.
