Job summary

Health and Safety Council® seeks an EMT to deliver occupational health and worksite medical services across clinic, mobile, and industrial settings along the Gulf Coast. You will perform initial assessment and stabilization of injuries, provide first aid and emergency care, and facilitate physician evaluation as needed.

You will also conduct occupational health testing and ensure documentation and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have EMT certification/licensure for assigned practice location(s).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtainable.
• Ability to obtain client/site access and safety credentials.
• Ability to travel to client locations for periods as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment and stabilization of workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Provide first aid and emergency medical care within scope and protocols.
• Facilitate physician or APP evaluation when indicated.
• Perform occupational health testing and surveillance services.
• Maintain readiness of emergency medical supplies and equipment.
• Accurately document patient encounters and testing results.
