Job summary

TRAK Group in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide front-line troubleshooting and technical assistance for customers and field service technicians. The role is 100% in-office with a 8-5 schedule, offering comprehensive training and growth within a collaborative Shared Services team.

You will diagnose equipment issues, guide customers, and document all interactions while collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electromechanical/Electrical/Mechanical Tech.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to diagnose issues and guide customers to solutions.
• Willingness to learn specialized equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
• Strong customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical support to customers and field technicians via phone, email, and web.
• Troubleshoot electronic controls, electrical components, and mechanical equipment.
• Answer questions about product functionality and usage.
• Guide nontechnical users through troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Diagnose problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Document interactions and resolutions in the CRM or support database.
• Collaborate with Engineering to address recurring issues and defects.
• Create training materials and product update notices for technicians and sales.
