Job summary

Essex Solutions in Indiana is seeking a maintenance helper to support plant mechanical and electrical maintenance functions and complete work orders.

You will operate machinery and forklifts if applicable, communicate with supervisors and associates, and help production while following safety rules and established procedures. Candidates should keep the work area clean and use tools such as wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support plant mechanical and electrical maintenance functions
• Complete Work Orders assigned
• Operate machinery, drive Forklifts and other powered industrial trucks if applicable
• Communicate with supervisors & associates.
• Support Production
• Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Use of tools including (but not limited to) wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer.
