Job summary

Universal Leaf North America is seeking an Electronics Specialist to monitor electronic equipment and assist in the design and installation of precision systems. You will repair and maintain electronic factory equipment to ensure accurate control functions and safe operation.

Responsibilities include calibrating systems, troubleshooting PLCs & networks, and coordinating with maintenance to optimize throughput and quality. ISO compliance and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics or Engineering or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of ladder logic, PID loops, and PLC programming.
• Experience with Siemens TIA PLCs and HMIs, and with industrial automation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems, sensors, actuators, and networks.
• Familiarity with safety practices, lockout/tagout, and ISO 9001/14001.
• Ability to coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimize throughput.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electronic equipment and assist in design and installation of equipment.
• Repair and maintain electronic factory equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain control systems and sensors.
• Troubleshoot networks and control systems to reduce downtime.
• Lead laser vision system operations and coordinate upgrades and repairs.
• Prepare technical documentation and calibration logs for ISO compliance.
• Collaborate with production leadership to improve throughput, safety, and efficiency.
• Identify AI-related improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
