Job summary

PepsiCo urgently seeks an experienced maintenance technician to repair and install advanced production equipment in our Orlando area facility. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and supervising contractors.

You will work with high heat, noise, and chemicals; lifting and climbing are routine, and weekend/holiday work may be required. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Pass technical assessment covering job-critical maintenance.
• Experience with basic electrical systems (starter, fuses, relays).
• Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting).
• Experience with reading manuals and applying knowledge to repairs.
• Experience with schematics (electrical blueprints).
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and diagnostics.
• Experience with reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment.
• Perform repairs on advanced production equipment as needed.
• Perform breakdown analysis.
• Upgrade production lines with new/upgraded equipment or technology.
• Direct activities of outside contractors on assigned line.
• Change line for package changeovers.
• Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards.
• Work independently under limited supervision.
• Document work schedule and tasks completed.
