Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a busy manufacturing operation in Bartow, FL. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, ability to diagnose issues, perform PMs, and respond quickly to breakdowns while collaborating with maintenance and production teams.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience and ability to diagnose equipment problems.
• PLC troubleshooting and experience with motor controls and drives.
• Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and welding.
• Experience using CMMS and performing PMs in manufacturing.
• Safety-minded with ability to read schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain production machinery.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify causes of failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance needs promptly.
• Install/repair motors, bearings, belts, gears, sensors, and switches.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to guide repairs.
• Use meters and diagnostic tools; perform basic fabrication and welding.
• Assist with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment.
• Document work orders, PMs, repairs, and parts used.
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance area and follow LOTO procedures.
• Operate forklifts/scissor lifts as required and support continuous improvement.
