Job summary

Key People is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and plant systems. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment across shifts.

You will support installations, upgrades, and startup projects while performing preventive maintenance and working with a maintenance team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and repair industrial motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and other industrial control systems.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other industrial automation systems.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
• Assist production operators and other Maintenance Team members with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.
