Job summary

Sanitation District No. 1 in Ft. Wright, KY is seeking an Electrician to support pump stations and treatment plants.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wire control cabinets, and work with PLCs, VFDs, and other controls in an industrial setting. Lockout/tagout, safe testing, and coordination with the Pump Station Administrator are required. Ideal candidates hold a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, 6+ years of industrial electrical experience, and are proficient with

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred with related degree/certification.
At least 6 years of commercial/industrial electrical trade experience.
Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
Preference for experience with VFDs, Soft Starts, and Motor Controls.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic software tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Read and understand electrical schematics.
Safely de-energize and lock out an electrical circuit.
Repair or maintain industrial production or processing machinery.
Use meters and test equipment to diagnose issues.
Collaborate with Pump Station Administrator on upgrades and contractor coordination.
Create and update work orders in Lucity CMMS; document repairs performed.
