Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Hampton, VA team. The role focuses on industrial or institutional wiring, preventive maintenance, and skilled troubleshooting using detailed schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities include installation, testing of systems, and ensuring compliance with NEC and building codes. A Journeyman license must be pursued within the first year for VA residents; 5 years of related experience is preferred.

Competenze

• 1 year post-secondary/vocational training in electrical theory, circuitry, codes, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and the Statewide Building Code.
• Journeyman's Electrician's License must be attained by the end of the first year of employment for VA.
• Experience: 5 years of related Electrician experience.
• Valid Driver's License VA or North Carolina.

Mansioni

• Install, maintain and repair wiring systems, circuits, electrical fixtures and equipment using schematics, diagrams and blueprints.
• Conduct operational tests of the electrical systems and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
