Job summary

Silk Road Technologies Canada is seeking an Industrial Electrician Journeyman to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing facility. You will support stamping presses and automated systems while upholding safety and uptime standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman Electrician certification with 8+ years of industrial electrical experience, familiarity with PLCs such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens, and knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification is required.
8+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including power distribution and control panels.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in stamping presses and automated production equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on presses and related equipment.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
