Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a qualified Electrician for our Noti, Oregon mill. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to support manufacturing operations, read blueprints, and ensure safety and efficiency across plant circuits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent related work history with verifiable references; mill experience preferred.
• Licensed through the state of Oregon to perform electrical work.
• Understanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three-phase power, running conduit, lighting, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
• Maintain components to control machinery, including switches, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and interfaces.
• Identify hazards and correct electrical defects.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect motors, switches, junction boxes, panels, circuit breakers, transformers, lighting.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics to plan installations.
• Install conduit and pull wire.
• Maintain safe, efficient plant electrical circuits and equipment.
• Troubleshoot encoders, sensors, and advanced vision systems.
• Identify process improvements to boost performance and production.
• Troubleshoot issues calmly to resolve them effectively.
• Communicate clearly and follow complex instructions.
• Perform general maintenance safely and keep work areas clean.
• Overtime may be required during busy production times.
