Job summary

Trident Seafoods, based in Seattle, is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial equipment. The role requires diagnosing malfunctions, replacing components, and ensuring safety standards across a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of related experience in electrical.
• Journeyman level or higher competency preferred; ARC FLASH certification is a plus.
• Certified in application of ARC FLASH controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment (robots, conveyors, PLCs).
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment; connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus and replaces damaged wires and cables; tests machinery to verify repairs.
• Replaces faulty electrical components (relays, switches, motors) and positions sensing devices.
• Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring and electrical apparatus in buildings.
