Job summary

Saft is seeking an Industrial Electrician to support safe, reliable facility operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and advanced manufacturing controls. Work involves PLCs, motor controls, instrumentation, and networks with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Associate’s degree and 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience, including reading schematics and following NEC standards.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in related field.
3–5 years industrial or commercial electrical experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of NEC standards and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA and internal procedures for safe operations.
Ensure safe operation of electrical systems by proper de-energization and grounding.
Inspect electrical distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems for safe operation.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems up to 480VAC with precision and code compliance.
Diagnose issues using multimeters, meggers, circuit analyzers and other diagnostic instruments.
Interpret complex diagrams and single-line drawings to guide installations and integrations.
Lead and support contractors and operations personnel in planning and executing installations.
