Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking an Industrial Electrician Technician to ensure reliable, safe operation of high-speed industrial equipment in aluminum can manufacturing. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including PLCs and automation controls, adhering to NFPA 70E standards.

The role features 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-3-2 schedule (days/nights every 4 weeks) with on-site work across Ball locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses: General Electrical Journeyman, Electrical Plant Journeyman, or Supervising Electrician.
• Technical qualification in Electrical Technology or related field; NFPA 70E familiarity.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical system maintenance and repair (24V-600V) including motors, VFDs, sensors and control panels.
• PLC and automation support; program and troubleshoot PLCs (Rockwell preferred) for production equipment.
• Installations and upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Adhere to NFPA 70E safety standards and company protocols; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation including wiring schematics and daily logs.
• Collaborate across shifts and departments; communicate electrical issues and resolutions.
• Participate in on-the-job training for skill development.
