Job summary

Profrac in Pleasanton, TX, seeks an experienced industrial electrician/maintenance technician to install, repair and maintain automated control systems across processing equipment.

You will read electrical and mechanical prints, troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley RS5000), VFDs, HMIs (Wonderware), and perform preventive maintenance; overtime and off-shift work required.

Candidate should have HS diploma, Associates preferred, Journeyman license preferred, and 4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
• Four years combined schooling and industrial experience.
• Strong machine electrical background.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• PLC troubleshooting experience with AB RS5000.
• HMI programming experience (Wonderware) preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Knowledge of MSHA, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Installation, modification and repair of automated industrial control equipment.
• Design, plan, install and maintain industrial control equipment and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, ladder diagrams, AC/DC circuits, sensors and switches, motor controls and safety circuits.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair electric motors and equipment (120, 240 and 480V).
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and document work.
• Source replacement components from vendors.
• May drive a pickup truck or maintenance vehicle to fetch parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
