Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Fall River, MA, is seeking a skilled Electrician to install and maintain electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. You will read schematics, install complex wiring, and work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and robotics to support production lines.

Required is a Journeyman’s card or equivalent experience, plus hands-on expertise with 480V and below electrical applications. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential to drive on-time, on-budget project execution.

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s card or equivalent experience to a Journeyman
• Able to read electrical schematics and knowledge of programmable controllers
• Hands-on experience with low voltage (480V and below) electrical applications
• Experience with PLC, HMI, VFDs, motion control, industrial networks and sensors

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical work on plant systems with minimal supervision.
• Plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers per codes.
• Read wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book.
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams and lead technicians.
