Job summary
BENTELER Automotive is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician for our Michigan facility. The role focuses on electrical systems in a manufacturing setting, troubleshooting robotics and control panels, and wiring/diagnostic work across production lines to ensure minimal downtime.
Qualified candidates will have a Michigan Journeyman License or be able to obtain one, along with PLC programming experience and a strong background in industrial controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Qualifications
- State or able to obtain a Michigan Journeyman License.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime including daily, weekend and holidays
- Experience reading blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications
- Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment
- Experience in replacing broken or defective parts in equipment or machines, electrical equipment and tooling
- Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with industrial controls, conveyance systems, motor control centers, power distribution panels, electrical starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge and troubleshooting experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
