Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Electrician for our Madison, GA plywood facility. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining electrical distribution and process equipment, with work in PLC/DCS, conduit/Wiring, and safety-compliant practices.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year in industrial settings, experience in electrical repair and instrumentation, and a background in Rockwell Automation software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, industrial, or industrial military setting.
• Minimum 1 year troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Experience in industrial electrical repair, process controls and/or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain facility electrical distribution and manufacturing process equipment.
• Understand, troubleshoot and modify PLC and DCS systems.
• Provide feedback on equipment conditions and improvements for job plans.
• Install new conduit and wiring and modify existing conduit and wiring.
