Job summary

USG seeks an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a manufacturing setting. The starting hourly rate ranges from $36.05 to $45.95, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6am to 2pm and potential 2pm–10pm shifts.

You will interpret wiring schematics, test equipment, and work safely under NEC and NFPA-70E guidelines. Candidates should have basic mechanical maintenance skills and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics or prints for electrical installations.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical components.
• Familiarity with NEC codes and NFPA-70E basics.
• Capable of using electrical test equipment safely.
• Able to operate basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance in a manufacturing plant.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and motor control systems (AC/DC).
• Develop skills to troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation equipment.
• Interpret work orders and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to policies.
