Helion Group seeks an experienced Industrial Electrical Technician for a state-of-the-art steel facility in Columbus, OH. You will work with advanced industrial automation, high-voltage systems, PLCs, and large-scale production equipment, diagnosing and repairing complex electrical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong commitment to safety and working to lockout/tagout procedures.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and automated manufacturing systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues involving high-voltage distribution up to 345kV as qualified.
• Troubleshoot PLC logic and I/O, particularly Siemens S7 systems.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to identify equipment failures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
