Job summary

Sharp Electronics Corporation in Memphis, TN is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems and PLC-based controls on industrial equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, testing, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.

You will install wiring, troubleshoot electrical components, and support production machines in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 5 years of industrial electrical experience and a strong understanding of PLC

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 5 years' experience in installation, operations, and maintenance of electrical systems including PLCs.
• Experience in an industrial setting with preventive maintenance for engines, motors, and production machines.

Responsibilities

• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and related components.
• Install and troubleshoot mechanical components including fasteners, belts, pulleys, bearings, and conveyor systems.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, meters, regulators, and reactors.
• Examine and test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
