Job summary

MGP Ingredients is hiring an Industrial Electrician for its Atchison, KS plant. You will work with a team of electricians to keep all electrical equipment fully functional and execute projects across the plant.

The role includes an alternate/swing shift schedule with nights and weekends. You will troubleshoot, configure and maintain AC/DC drives, PLCs and motor control systems while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience with 24V AC/DC through 480V AC three‑phase, frequency drives & PLC logic.
• Must pass general aptitude testing and mechanical testing at MGP Ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Install, configure, repair and maintain AC and DC electronic drives.
• Troubleshoot and repair motor and control systems and PLCs.
• Perform electrical building maintenance and repairs.
