Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical systems and equipment up to 480 VAC. Emphasis on safety, reliability, and timely corrective action.

You'll read schematics, diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and support controls and automation initiatives. Strong basic electrical fundamentals are required; PLC/controls exposure is a plus, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems, motors, and motor controls.
• Must work independently with on-site attendance and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements per NFPA 70E and LTT; report incidents promptly.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot electrical power and control circuits and distribution equipment.
• Maintain and diagnose AC/DC and servo motors, VFDs, sensors, and related components.
• Lead electrical troubleshooting during downtime; read schematics and diagrams; identify root causes.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and power-quality reviews.
• Support controls staff and participate in controls training.
