Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school training preferred.
• 1-5 years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, job site safety protocols, and proper PPE usage.
• Ability to read basic technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and gauges.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal).
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards and project specifications.
• Accurately install wiring, conduit, panelboards, lighting fixtures, devices, boxes, breakers, and pre-fabricated assemblies.
• Set up and commission electrical distribution and automation systems, including switchgear, transformers, control panels, PLC cabinets, and VFDs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise installation and compliance.
• Perform motor and control circuitry terminations, with an understanding of power and control systems.
• Bend and install conduit using hand and mechanical benders.
• Collaborate with foremen, electricians, apprentices, and project managers to meet milestones.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site while ensuring safety and quality standards.
