Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Svcs LLC seeks an Electrician A for a contract assignment in Ogden, Utah. The role is 100% onsite, supporting industrial maintenance and electrical systems.

Responsibilities include installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment in a plant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial electrical maintenance and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of electrical craft experience, including at least three (3) years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED required; trade or technical school education in industrial electrical maintenance may qualify for part of the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and install electrical equipment, systems and components including motors, process pumps, controls and programmable logic controls.
• Install and repair building electrical systems per National Electrical Code requirements.
• Maintain, test and repair electrical circuitry and equipment to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Check and maintain electrical apparatus, equipment, facilities, and systems as directed by the preventative maintenance program and maintain records.
• Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit using multiple hand tools.
• Repair and replace switches, fuses, controls, and other electrical hardware.
• Troubleshoot equipment and replace or repair defective components.
• Assist other maintenance technicians or engineers.
• Coordinate area activities with central maintenance shop.
• Train other crafts persons as assigned.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
