Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled Electrician for an on-site, contract-to-hire role in Meriden, CT. Shift: 7am-3:30pm with overtime. Pay: $38/hr on W2.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across manufacturing and facility support areas. Qualifications include a CT Journeyperson license, 3–5 years of experience in regulated settings, and proficiency with drawing interpretation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training required.
• Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License required.
• 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E; ability to read electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the facility.
• Support production, utility systems, HVAC, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility support.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose issues with motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, panels, lighting, and power distribution.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with automation, instrumentation, and controls teams to troubleshoot integrated systems.
• Conduct inspections and CMMS maintenance records; CAPA as required.
• Assist with energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow EHS, GMP, and quality requirements.
