Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, sketches and building plans.
• Must follow safety and quality processes and complete required training.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and building plans for material installation.
• Work precisely within limits and standards of accuracy.
• Prepare layouts using voltage tester, wire strippers and other hand tools.
• Terminate panels and practice LOTO procedures.
• Plan installation sequencing to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other workers.
• Install cable trays, pull wires and bend conduits as needed.
• Understand motor controls and metering; size branch circuits.
• Calculate loads for single and three-phase circuits.
• Follow directions, plans and blueprints to complete tasks.
• Work overhead or in confined spaces as required by conditions.
