Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking Electrical Helpers for a project in York, SC. You will assist with wiring, layout, and equipment installation on a demand-driven construction site, under supervision.

This on-site position requires basic electrical knowledge, adherence to safety policies, and ability to travel as needed. The project environment includes industrial facilities in the Southeast and is full-time with potential for extended hours.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete all safety and general job training as required.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes at all times.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, sketches and building plans for material layouts.
• Prepare layouts using voltage testers and wire tools.
• Terminate panels following LOTO procedures.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and conflicts.
• Run cable trays, pull wires and bend conduit.
• Understand motor controls and metering.
• Calculate loads and select branch circuit protection.
