Job summary

The position operates Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–11:00pm, with weekends as needed, and involves working with inside contractors and vendors, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of formal technical training in electricity and electrical design, or five years of experience in electrical systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred; ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and modify industrial electrical wiring, equipment, and instrumentation from blueprints and schematics.
• Complete preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot production equipment (motors, switches, starters, control panels) using electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Observe safety rules and report unsafe conditions; participate in safety trainings.
• Diagnose repairs and recommend process improvements to industrial control systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors on electrical projects.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
