Job summary

Global Tungsten & Powders in Towanda, PA, seeks an electrically skilled tradesperson for plant electrical work, installation and maintenance of equipment. In this hourly role, you will troubleshoot using schematics, perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with codes.

The ideal candidate has an A.A.S. or certificate in electrical trades, 4 years of industrial experience, and training in PIT operations with color vision requirements. Shift patterns may vary by business needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an A.A.S. degree or certificate from an accredited electrical trade school program.
• 4 years of prior experience in an industrial or equivalent setting.
• Pass visual, hearing and color vision tests; complete PIT operator training per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lay out construction, assembly, installation, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic equipment and services.
• Troubleshoot equipment using schematics and prints; modify defective parts to achieve desired operation.
• Perform basic electronic work, test and replace components; conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
