Job summary

Universal Stainless is seeking an Electrician for our Bridgeville, PA mill. You will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation to support safe, reliable plant production equipment and systems.

The role requires a two-year electrical training background, experience with electrical control panels, and the ability to interpret blueprints. Safety‑sensitive position with day‑one benefits and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Two-year post-high school education from a vocational technical school or equivalent electrical training is required.
• Must successfully pass the Ramsey RR47-A test and applicable test stand.
• Must demonstrate electrical knowledge through review/walk-through of electrical prints.
• Must have working knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repair work throughout the mill.
• Maintain, inspect, repair, and replace electrical components, equipment, and systems.
• Maintain and replace motor bearings as required.
• Maintain control panels, switches, wiring, and related electrical components.
• Maintain electrical breakers; inspect transformers and identify issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electromechanical equipment; perform rebuilds.
