Roseburg El Dorado MDF seeks a skilled Electrician to perform electrical maintenance, installation, and repair of motors, drives, and PLC controls. The role emphasizes diagnosing downtime, ensuring safe operation, and maintaining clean, efficient production lines.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance, experience reading electrical schematics, and a commitment to safety, with flexibility for overtime and shift work in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• 4+ years in industrial maintenance
• Overtime, weekends, on-call, rotating shifts
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Able to read electrical drawings/schematics
• Troubleshooting with test instruments
• Experience using a computer for records
• Able to work in extreme heat/cold
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Safety mindset per NEC/NFPA70E rules
• Team oriented with willingness to learn new skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled electrical maintenance tasks including equipment installation
• Repair and PM electrical machinery (AC/DC motors, drives, conveyors, PLCs)
• Analyze breakdown causes and restore equipment to operation
• Follow lockout/tagout and plant safety procedures
• Work independently or in teams and maintain housekeeping
• Contribute to safety culture and company values
• Perform other duties as assigned
