Job summary
Aerotek is seeking an experienced Electrician Mechanic for a contract-to-hire role based in Princeton, NJ. The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting, prioritizing equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance or electrician experience.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, VFDs, relays, and control circuits.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; PLC troubleshooting a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and automated equipment.
- Install and modify electrical wiring and machinery.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Maintain inspections and maintenance records.
- Ensure OSHA and electrical code compliance.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize performance.
