Clariant Corporation, a global specialty chemicals company, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join the Louisville maintenance team. You will maintain and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient production operations and support the Catalyst Business Unit.

The role requires a background in electrical/instrumentation, proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and related safety protocols. Onsite work with various equipment and teams is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and post secondary trade school or technical college education.
• Three or more years of industrial Electrical/Instrumentation experience.
• Skill in Microsoft Office, Outlook, & SAP.
• Siemens Simatic Batch PCS7 experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install plant instrumentation and controls equipment.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics and part lists.
• Develop materials lists for projects and use related equipment safely.
• Daily use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP, PLC GE Machine Addition and Simplicity programs.
• Follow safety programs (Confined Space Entry, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work, Fork Truck, Arc Flash, PPE).
• Participate in daily performance dialogue meetings for effective team communication.

The Industrial Electrician is a key member of the Maintenance team at the Louisville, KY site, supporting the success of the Catalyst Business Unit. The main responsibility of the Industrial Electrician Person (Electrical/Instrumentation) is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production systems and equipment by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, programming, and/or replacing plant instrumentation and controls equipment.
• This requires the ability to read, understand, and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, part lists, and other written instructions.
• As part of the job, The person is expected to develop a materials list for projects, including tools, equipment, and parts. The person will also be required to use manlifts, forklifts, and any other related equipment needed to perform daily duties.
• The job involves daily use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP, PLC GE Machine Addition, and Simplicity programs.
• The person is also required to follow all Confined Space Entry, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work, Fork Truck, Arc Flash, PPE, and other related programs to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participation in daily performance dialogue meetings and any other required team meetings is also expected to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
• Overall, The person in this job position plays a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of the plant instrumentation and controls equipment, which is essential for the overall success of the production process.
