Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the Wadsworth, OH area on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with weekend overtime as needed. Expect 50-60 hours weekly, with a strong emphasis on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of electrical equipment in an industrial setting.

You will read blueprints, diagnose issues across low to high voltage systems, and possess journeyman certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification or 10+ years of experience as industrial electrician if no journeyman’s card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Capable of troubleshooting all types of equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
• Work on boilers, pans, presses, conveyor belts, control centers, manlifts, elevators, etc.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing low-to-high voltage systems.

We are working with a large manufacturing company in the Wadsworth, Ohio area with an opening for an Industrial Electrician working Monday-Friday, on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with weekend overtime required as needed. Currently working 50-60 hours weekly. A Journeyman certification, or equivalent (10+ years of experience working as an industrial electrician if no journeyman’s card), is required. This is an industrial / manufacturing environment.

The right individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment. You will be expected to work on items like boilers, pans, presses, conveyor belts, control centers, manlifts, elevators, etc. You need to have a proven track recording of troubleshooting and fixing equipment – low voltage systems, 12V-480V.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Journeyman certification, or equivalent (10+ years of experience working as an industrial electrician if no journeyman’s card), required.
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Must read electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Capable of all types of troubleshooting of all types of equipment.
• Knowledge of plc’s would be a plus

Our client offers:

• A solid hourly pay of $41.72/hr. with shift differentials (2nd-.60/hr.)
• $3000.00 retention bonus paid after 6 months($1.5K) and 12 months ($1.5K) of continuous service
