Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician on-site in Ravenna, OH. This role will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing setting, with a 12-hour night rotation (2-2-3) and a night premium of $2.10/hr.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics. Welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or an associate’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
