Job summary

Industrial Maintenance and Automation, a Crete United Company, is seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial Electrician in Shelby, NC for a full-time permanent role. You will work on electrical installations, retrofits, and machine installations within a 70-mile radius of Shelby, with a focus on feeders, conduit bending, and NEC code adherence.

Salary is $25-$30 per hour DOE plus excellent benefits. Candidates must have 3-5 years in industrial/commercial settings, a valid driver's license,

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in industrial/commercial electrical work.
Experience running feeders, pulling cable, bending conduit.
Familiar with NEC codes and blueprints.
Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Willing to work overtime and pass a drug test.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, panels, feeders, transformers and wiring.
Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
Perform work in compliance with NEC codes, blueprints, and standards.
Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
Document repairs and service information.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.
Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.
Run and bend conduit, size all associated wire.
