Job summary

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Electrician Level II in Arvin, CA, to perform intermediate electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting on three-phase power systems and motor controls. The role requires reading schematics, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safe operation in a production environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience, and familiarity with NFPA 70E, NEC, and PLC/VFD systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible hands-on electrical experience in industrial or similar settings.
• Knowledge of Level I electrical competencies and safe installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting 480-volt three-phase systems, motors, motor-control circuits, and MCCs with schematics and diagnostics.
• Experience installing or replacing VFDs and basic configuration; identify and troubleshoot common VFD faults.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, tracing I/O and ladder logic for diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, and motor-control schematics.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, grounding, and PPE.
• Read/write English for safety instructions and maintenance records; communicate with operators.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate industrial electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting on 3-phase power systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and service motors, motor-control centers, transformers, and VFDs; work with electrical schematics and diagnostic procedures.
• Document work results, test data, and equipment conditions following standard procedures.
