Job summary

GAF in Baltimore is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team. This role provides maintenance support to production lines, ensuring safe and efficient operation of plant electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will perform routine repairs, read blueprints and manuals, and troubleshoot AC/DC motors and relays while adhering to safety standards. Must have a high school diploma or GED and willingness to work six days a week as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in high-speed manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs on machinery in the plant.
• Read instructions, blue prints, and manuals; use meters and shop equipment.
• Replace electric motors, switches and wires as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, relays, AC/DC motors.
• Work with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to prevent major production interruption.
